Meet Coach Fore!

BACKGROUND

Jeff Fore was born in Macon Missouri the son and grandson of Basketball Coaches.  At a very young age, his family moved to Rolla, Missouri where Jeff grew up graduating from Rolla High School where he lettered in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Tennis.

After High School, Jeff attended the University of Missouri Rolla where he was a member of the Miners Basketball Program.  Knowing that he wanted to go into Coaching Jeff hung up his shoes to take a position under Nelson Catalina at Arkansas State University.  Following a successful stint at Arkansas State that included a 20 win season and two trips to the postseason NIT, Jeff took a position at one of the winningest NCAA Division II programs in the country Central Missouri State University.  In his first year at Central Missouri, the Mules went 27-3 and were ranked as high as #2 in the country.  Unfortunately, the season ended in disappointment with a sweet sixteen loss in the NCAA Tournament.  During his tenor at Central Missouri Jeff also had the pleasure of being on staff with his grandfather Billy Key who was brought in to help following the departure of Head Coach Jim Wooldridge.

Following a three-year stint at Central Missouri State Coach Fore became the youngest head coach in the country when at 24 he took over at Clark University.  After three year stint at Clark Coach Fore took his basketball coaching experience overseas where he took over as Head Coach at Kuwait Sporting Club located in Kuwait City, Kuwait.   During his two-year stint with Kuwait Sporting Club Coach Fore won two league titles as well and winning the prestigious Amir Cup which is equal to the country's National Basketball Championship.

Following his second very successful season with Kuwait Sporting Club Coach Fore moved to the Kuwait National team where his success continued.  In his first year with the National Team, they won the Gulf Championships for the first time in history.  The Kuwait National Team then went on to see  unprecedented international success that ended with a quarterfinal loss to China in the 2000 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Fukuoka Japan.

Since leaving the International game Coach Fore has gone on to successful stints at the High School and College level moving over to the Women's side as Head Coach at Sandra Day O'Connor High School where he had a 22-8 campaign that still stands today as the best single season in school history.  Coach Fore is currently the Athletic Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach at Park University Gilbert, a program he started from scratch in 2018.   As a first-year NAIA tournament-eligible program they finished 16-10 and made the semi-finals of the Cal Pac Conference post-season tournament.
